👉 both cohorts get supplementary assistance so it’s not fair that only survivors pay theirs back

👉 survivors go without care for decades and relationship sanctions on MSD benefits wildly increase their re-injury risk

I submitted opposing the bill on the grounds that it lacked scope to provide for fairness due to only considering costs to the state and not costs to recipients of payments (which in the case of many, particularly those Shiny discusses would be substantially more than any supplementary assistance)
