experimenting with my cookie recipe but im impatient so i changed six things at once and now i dont know what caused the results. i would be a terrible scientist.

i love sourdough and i have really enjoyed learning to bake with it but every resource has so many numbers and graphs and long blocks of text and unfortunately im illiterate

dont even get me started on people who think chewy means crispy or hard

the worst is when people use chewy when they mean airy. cake is not chewy what the hell are you talking about

soft is different from chewy is different from fudgy which is the opposite of cakey but everything is soft and moist to varying degrees

im convinced that nobody actually knows how to describe the texture of baked goods

tried adding sourdough discard to my personal cookie recipe 🤞
