there's a buried good movie idea in here where a cop takes up a 911 dispatcher job and is brutally confronted with the fact that his former colleagues only make situations worse and hurt people

the scene when he threatened an overdose caller with the police is really one of the least responsible things I've seen in a movie

no because again everything he does makes every situation worse. i have not finished the movie but so far he seems like a menace to society

Watching "The Guilty" with Jake Gyllenhaal, in which he plays a cop under investigation who is forced to work as a 911 operator (this movie does not know what 911 operators do) and proceeds to do nothing but get children killed and women abused by giving them bad advice
