That does bite, yeah. I don't mind criticism, and I get the desire to give feedback to help an artist or share your passion for a subject, but there's gotta be some grace to it. Plus, it stings extra hard when it's the ONLY comment you get, yes :(

I love your art for these characters so much! Their personality really comes through in their expressions and poses.

For what it's worth, I thought that seeing your thoughts and thought process on your stories and the concepts that you explore in them and your other creative outlets was very interesting and was presented in a way that was absolutely not confrontational.

This is super useful and well-presented! It does raise the question, though, of what to study if your character *does* have back wings in addition to their arms. Is the anatomy of angel-style wings different due to them originating from a different part of the body? Not much in nature does that.

This was my first year as well and, though I felt pretty good about my productivity, I understood pretty quickly that wasn't the point :) I think the point was just to share a wonderful art experience with folks, and make some people really happy with art. You did that! Be kind to yourself.

While I definitely agree that we shouldn't shame folks for who they follow or what they draw, I must admit that it's still a challenge to personally post more risque art due to fear of chasing folks off.

This is amazingly beautiful! I love how soft the coloring and the shapes are, and the lighting makes it look so darned cozy. I'd say this is a successful experiment :)

I also must admit that I love the paper bag theater bits. They may not be the most emotional stories but, darn it, I love a good parody and they're the perfect palette cleanser after the heavier moments.

Just finished reading the final #Housepets! Omnibus by @rickgriffin.bsky.social (I know, I know. I'm a slow reader), and that was an awesome journey! There were so many wonderful, emotional moments, but also just a ton of fun storylines and genuinely funny jokes. It's honestly inspiring stuff!

He is SO floofy... Definitely one of the cutest and most huggable-looking of the main characters, in my opinion!

I've been loving these pixel renditions of your characters! They feel like they would fit right in an old Treasure platformer/adventure game.

An orange version of a Spike enemy from the Mario games is hold a bat and looking down at the viewer while wearing an apron that reads 'Fry-Guy Convenience." The Spike looks displeased and there is an open and smashed bag of potato chips where the viewer would be.
