I’m only a few levels in, but Donkey Kong Bananza is fantastic. Pure joy, I tell you. Hopefully this joy can last all the way through the game.

There’s so many games I have that I want to play. I’m not interested in spending the little time I have to play games with a game that frustrates me so much.

I ended up putting the game down after 10 hours or so. It’s a lovely game and I can see that it would be something special if I wasn’t so frustrated with it.

Also, the game needs a map or mini map or something. Wandering around the areas until I just stumble upon where I’m supposed to go is frustrating. The areas are varied, but the sections in each area all look too similar to me. So it’s hard to determine if I’m heading in the correct direction or not.

I even tried the auto parry accessibility feature and I felt it didn’t work when I wanted it to or I just have too high of an expectation of how it should work and it’s not meeting that expectation.

I feel like the game is great, and I want to love it like most people do, but the issues I have with it are “me” problems. I always suck at parrying in games, regardless of the type of game, and this one is no different. So I tend to get wiped out easily in battles. Which is very frustrating.

It’s a good way to start to day

I feel Microsoft will get the remaining Turn 10 team to port the latest Forza Motorsport to PS5 to squeeze more money from it. Don’t get me wrong, I’d love to have Forza Motorsport on PS5—it’s a great game. And honestly, I’d buy it, like I did with Horizon 5. Perhaps I’m part of the problem though.

I love AMC Theaters. My wife and I have been AMC A-List subscribers since the program launched in 2018. However, this can get fucked.

Saw X was one of the better sequels in the franchise. Now that one of the creators has it back in his control I’m hoping they can keep up the quality that Saw X had.
