I was able to avoid watching silly rabbit and childish pebble actually.
A lack of empathy explains why the priest and the Levite passed by on the other side.
You reject empathy?
That sounds hard. I hear you. What do you need right now?
Thank you, Stan
The state is always recruiting prophets who will sacrifice to Baal on their behalf and whitewash their tombs.
Here's how you can spot them:

Christians must pray for those in authority,
not march in lockstep with them.
Against such things, there are no laws/words.
AI can offer the greatest verbal articulation of love/joy/peace etc. but it cannot produce those things in a person. Love is not produced through head knowledge.
Faith is verbal and non-verbal. Christianity is a relationship and not merely a religion.
Yuval Harari asks, "What happens to a religion of the book when the greatest expert on the holy book is an AI?"

What he misses is that AI can't produce the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, & self-control.

That’s the only type of response I ever get from Schumer.
Where cruelty is the policy,
democracy is the casualty.
After Trump mocked Rob Reiner in a social media post following his murder, pastors and Christian influencers from across ideological lines pushed back publicly. @drmoore @BethMooreLPM @LilaGraceRose @conservmillen @ostrachan @MikeCosper @DennyBurk @sagesteele

In “The City of God,” Augustine distinguishes between a people bound by common loves and those ruled by a lust for domination. A president who wants to lead a nation bound by common loves might offer up something like Abraham Lincoln’s Second Inaugural Address, which

Here’s mine from Thanksgiving. Basically just removing the backbone and laying it flat.
He is our friend who stays closer than a brother and who ministers to us in our deepest need.
"is sick" - simple acknowledgment of what is broken.
How often do we irritably present our requests as though Jesus were a customer service rep who clearly got the order wrong?
Mary and Martha consider Jesus a friend. They humbly ask for help. Jesus is not a vending machine for what we want.
"Lord, the one you love is sick."
This is true intercession:
"Lord" - We make our requests known to the only one who knows us deeply.
"the one you love" - Our requests are not based on our love or service to God but based on his love and sacrifice for us.

The belief that pastors cannot or should not have close friends in their church has done more harm to church life than almost any other internal threat. The advice to keep your distance is not the way of Jesus and, depending on how it is practiced, may even be worldly/demonic.
