🦭 I was honored to be invited to co-author this perspective for Science with Lucy Hawkes from @exetermarine.bsky.social, showcasing diverse adaptations to hypoxia- responding to a new study by McKnight et al. that suggests that seals use oxygen as a cue to breathe.

Here's an example of how you can use this dataset- we can pull all >600 netCDF files from Dryad to visualize tracks and diving data from 2017 to highlight a single animal with lower foraging success than the others. More on that animal by @RachelHolser: academic.oup.com/conphys/arti...
