and like, what if they gut the entire market of creative people for a mass market of non-creative people to sell too.
Who in a fresh hell is spending an an £804+ annually on this stuff who doesn't live and breath this shit?
It's almost as if trying to outsource creativity to machines, to your core market of people who are creative for money, was a bad idea or somethin.
I think about this a lot.

As you use AI to simplify easy yet mundane tasks, like writing emails, you get increasingly dependent on it.
You get lazy, less skilled, use your brain less, and (you may not want to hear this) get stupider as a result.
Don’t let them take away your ability to think. Stop using it. Now.
Go buy your fave comic artist a coffee, they need it!
In fact, anyone who wants to learn about art, go watch this guy paint for an hour. www.youtube.com/watch?v=mT0R...
yasss! I love that! Doodles, Erasers, 3d modle shaping, hell, litteral clay, it's all valid!
Bob Ross nailed the whole point of art with 'the joy of painting'.
It's why regression is inevitable for folks who use AI
You will not grow 👏
You will be left behind 👏
You are an expendable product to them 👏
They will replace you 👏
This is honestly the problem that everything needs to be done faster and cheaper, and enjoying the process, learning a skill, and improving yourself is seconadry to the end product.
Folks who use Ai to 'ideate' (loath the word) deny themselves the single best part of being an artist, where you can just play, let ideas take you places and run wild.
hot tip: if you can't vissualise the idea you have in mind, just start drawing, doodling and molding it out of shapes and let that process take your idea someplace you didn't realise you wanted to go. It's like exploration.
and, it's argubably the single best part of creating art.

So AI might be intentionally deskilling us so it can rent cognitive ability back at their chosen rates.
That's the bad news.
Here's the good news.

My first commission for Dioscuri, who was very keen to give Orb Diverse the rep they truly deserved.
Praise be the orb

Welcome to my ted-talk, apologies or the rant, but understanding this felt pretty important when dealing with shitlords.
This insight came from the awesome Matt Colville talking about the game Disploamcy. I would wholeheartedly give Matt's channel a watch, their DM advice is gold! - youtu.be/HWt0AQWjhPg?...
Also great advice for running communites, if they suck, but still uphold the rules technically, they still suck. Get rid of them, your community deserves better than the.
It's why blocking/removing these kinds of folks from your circles is the only way to deal with them, because you'll never out-argue them.
Like some dictators we know.
Much like having an argument aginst someone who's priciples changes to whatever helps them win, you'll never out argue them on logic, reason, morals or interigty because those are not rules they are resticted by.
