Trump is SPECTACULAR at appealing to folks with adult brains functioning w/young developmental states, like his own. He speaks the language of toddler & preschool brains, which seek familiarity, trusting what authorities/adults say on its face, and rigid black and white thinking.

Brains that never had “higher-order” critical thinking & information analysis systems, as well as those that have lifestyle or injury damage, have thinking, behavior & choice making algos that use what IS built well— attention seeking, emotion, seeking similarity & familiarity etc.

12/ MAGA have brains that **can’t** understand the risks of Trump even when we explain it (hello, MAGA rally footage) online behaviors & the fact that January 6 even COULD occur. **These brains dismiss facts & info bc no system for processing & using them was built in childhood**

11/ ppl with high IQ & cognitive function who have a formal education, expertise, science, data, & historical info are all high-value in our brain’s design algo for assessing and responding to the world. Brains that don’t get what they need in early childhood CANT build empathy later.
