I knotted a bunch of yarn directly to his chest and used a slicker brush to make it fluffy, then I trimmed it down. Idk if that'll work for your scale, but it worked well for mine 😉

So recently I did an art trade with @girlswithboysnamesart ! She asked me to make her D&D character, a Leonin Warlock named Nanjala! I had SO MUCH FUN recreating her character! It was a fun challenge and she turned out fantastic.

As for Leandra, Mal always felt that her mother resented her and used her as a scapegoat. She did her best to stay on her mother's good side but it never felt like enough. Eventually, Mal stopped trying to be enough for Leandra and started trying to just be herself. (5/5)

That adventure led to Mallorie being much more aware of her father's limitations, & she actively helped him restore the house they lived in during the family's time in Lothering. She was the only one who knew the truth about his illness (he wouldn't have told her if she didn't see his blood). (4/5)

On the way back, they were accosted by Templars. During the fight, Malcolm took a blow that was aimed at Mal and got injured.

She would go on to kill her first person, witness her father use blood magic, have to fix up his wound manually, & find out that he's been sick for a very long time. (3/5)

Believing that no one would notice her absence, Mal took off (ran away) with the intent of going back to South Reach for her keepsake.

Malcolm noticed. Little did she know he *always* noticed. Her dad came after her and instead of making her come home, he accompanied her the rest of the way. (2/5)

Mal and Malcolm were EXTREMELY close. However, that wasn't always the case. When her siblings came into their magic, he unintentionally left Mal & Carver in the dust to fend for themselves. When Mal was 16, the Hawkes moved to Lothering, and she left an important keepsake behind in South Reach (1/5)

It wasn't any kind of major realization. After years of traveling with the Chargers, & finding the stability and safety that only comes with a found family, Mal stayed behind while Bull went on a mission with the Inquisitor. And she found herself missing him.

And he missed her too.

Mal thinks it's kind of ironic that her older sibling was the Champion of Kirkwall, and now she's gone on to fight two ancient Elven Gods as a result. If the Maker was real, she wishes he would leave her family alone because damn.

The most prominent scar is the slash on Mal's left cheek given to her by Ginnis of the Winters. This happened before the Seamus rescue mission in DA2. She definitely reveled in getting Ginnis back later on. (She got her back real good 😈)

Mal loves her hair. She's glad that she stopped dyeing it black after Kirkwall, because she's a natural redhead and she's been told she attacks with the ferocity of a fire ball. (Also Bull likes redheads so... Win-Win)

Mal's home is with the Chargers. Wherever they are, she's home. After Trespasser, they take over the Hawke estate in Kirkwall (whether or not a Qunari mercenary settling down in Kirkwall was a good idea or not was hotly debated). After Veilguard, Mal goes home to Kirkwall & her husband.

Funnily enough, "Rook" IS the nickname that Varric gave to Mal in Kirkwall! Varric wanted to stick with a "bird" theme (Hawke & Rook).

When they reunite in Minrathous, Varric's exact words were: "Oh you've GOT to be fucking kidding me, Rook. Of course you'd end up in the middle of this."

Mal is a dual-wield rogue with specializations in the DA2 Shadow tree, DAI Assassin tree, & the Veilguard Dualist trees.

She always has extra knives & poison on hand. She trained under Leliana during Inquisition after she was promoted to Bull's Left Hand.
