Personally, I’ve always thought it needs to be reviewed. That’s not to say I do or don’t want the 6 weeks! More it’s time to consider if a very old-fashioned calendar works for the modern world.

Ahem! Have you even met any 4 year olds? There is nothing more inviting than a stash of cardboard boxes!

Sometimes we make our classrooms aesthetically pleasing from a grownup’s perspective. We need to stop that.

I believe it to be both. I think the art of teaching is a vocation, but the act of being a teacher is a job. And there is a difference!
