When white people react with hostility to sharing space with Black and brown folk, they don’t care if those folk were born here, migrated legally, or are “illegal aliens.” They only see non-white faces who “don’t belong in their space.” This is why “ordinary concern” about migration is basic racism.

A lot of people are sharing articles about how to stretch your food budget or cook like our grandparents did to survive.

Our grandparents lived through the Great Depression.

If we’re having to resort to what they did… things are much worse than folks are willing to admit.

It’s maddening that people making $80k a year are the ones donating food so people making $20k a year can eat, while the people making $32 million a year get tax cuts to pay for $10k a night hotel in Bali.

The rich post their lifestyle for attention, because our clicks and envy give them the energy to keep living in a world their greed has broken.

The poor feed the poor.
The middle class holds the line.
The rich feed on attention.
