now this has its bad side. the incentives at play dont favour slow exploration or experimentation. it is expected that you come out of the gate with a very develope unique voice which comes at the cost of the fundamentals.

Right now we have the biggest wave of very unique and also very high quality artist doing their thing without excesive compromise. of course just like with that early 2000s wave of artists this has to do with the incentives at play. now we have social media favouring personality and quality.
