I work at a cancer clinic & I just got harassed by a cop for leaving work. I didn't know it was a crime to work hard & late into the night. I can not believe I am sitting in my home and not a cell right now after I saw him turn his camera off and call for backup saying I wasnt cooperating. Stay safe
Today I felt like I was on one of those timed crafting competitions. Started my project over from scratch. This is how far I was able to get. Trusting the process all colors will look different once they get fired made from 100% clay slabs
Today's project has been a clay picture frame I'm working on in honor of the late Lolita the whale and her pod. My first frame got bonedry too fast so I started over. I imprinted coral and fossils and made it round which was the original vision for it. I've got a lot of work ahead of me on this one.
I've been following her journey since she had one small home with I think six kids she saved. She's bought girls out from being child brides when the family was selling them for debts. She's saved empregnated, disabled and orphaned children. She feeds many families who go without otherwise.
