Ara is super badass but also flawed and vulnerable. Such a fun character to write. She was the only one in her squad to survive the infected barrage and was brought back from the brink of death. She deserves love, but damn does it take a long time for her to finally get it. LOL

TLDR Ara is an ex-soldier that is part of a quarantined group infected with a feral virus, except she hasn't succumbed to it. She and the others in her group are being held captive. Eventually, she is brought to the Vothjun and given a job as a guard to Rella. Sappiness ensues.
