my last job wasn't even Bad per se. I think I just burnt out so intensely & had no opportunities for growth so the monotony sucked up all my energy & life

it is so wonderful to have a job where I'm not just in constant agony counting down the time until I can go home (I work longer hours here too and yet I still feel almost euphoric after my shifts a la an exercise high or whatever)

had down time so I got to just cuddle and play with this litter of 3 pittie puppies (they're only like 6 weeks old) & my heart melted. they have crazy puppy breath which is one of my fave smells ever. here's one of the lil monsters

that's what matters! if you do end up getting one/some, i'm more than willing to give some advice on care or send some resources that we use for education & whatnot if you ever need it. i'm sure yours will be loved & happy for sure!

also having to learn that taking traditional paths irt education & careers isn't the only way to succeed. like i can go later when i have a better grip on my ambitions. & i don't have to go where you tell me to go. i don't have to conform to anything & i don't want to anyway

i have spent years struggling with the comparison of my success to what success was expected of me & how those 2 things are not identical. the fact that i don't have a degree at my age despite my academic achievements could seem disappointing to those people but i think my happiness is paramount

they're super cute!!! i love these guys so much. i definitely recommend getting at least 2 to prevent boredom & loneliness, but if you have just 1, make sure to give it even more love + enrichment to compensate!! they're great pets, though, & i hope you're able to!!!

my life including the person who i'm certain holds the other half of my heart, & the memories i've made in this time are insane!! if i stuck to what was intended for me, i wouldn't have gotten to do half of what i have now! maybe that's a disappointment to some, but not to me. i'm truly happy now

have honestly been through hell for so much of my life & 2 of my 3 hospitalizations have been within the last 5 years but i get to go to a well-paying job that allows me to indulge in my passion & explore several career options that i CAN get a degree in later on, i have genuinely good people in

completely disabled me & prevented me from finishing a degree (so far). but as of right now, i live with my soulmate & friends, i have a job that'll likely propel me back into college with a new passion, i've been to japan, & am overall so happy & excited for the future. i wouldn't trade it honestly

& my life actually is quite unconventional compared to what was expected of me. it was expected (pressured into so heavily i have a debilitating anxiety disorder with heart problems) that i'd graduate from an ivy league in 4 years & make history but i didn't. bouts of psychosis + a DID diagnosis

saw a tweet asking "what happened to the smartest person you went to school with" & funnily enough i AM the smartest person i went to school with (not even bragging; i literally have several trophies/awards for years of being valedictorian & i have an enormous academic resume)

my parents were both superfans of the series since before I was even born (was almost named after a character) & after I took an interest in gaming via the mario series, my mom gave me her SNES & told me a lot about the zelda series which led to me getting interested in playing it (around 2009)!

funny you mention this because i too had an incident where i rode my razor scooter at least 10 years ago in my backyard & managed to turn sharp enough to ride straight into my pool & it was the first time i can truly say my life flashed before my eyes
