Amen to that, and let’s all hope/ fight for this to remain true. They have forced others to do so, in a camp, already.

The men in southern universities studying the “genetic basis” for childhood ODD, oppositional defiant disorder (a diagnosis inflicted disproportionately on Black children)—considered a sometimes precursor to sociopathy—should shift their focus of study to these people.

Hello from Sweden 🇸🇪

I am here this week giving lectures and learning about an educational system in a country with a social safety net.

For starters, undergraduate education is free and doctoral students are treated as employees, including paid medical and parental leave.

Beyond Vietnam — Alternative Radio Martin Luther King Jr.’s charismatic “I Have a Dream” speech is emblazoned in our historical memories. But another address to a much smaller audience on April 4, 1967 at Riverside Church in New York i...

King's intelligence and moral clarity is unparalleled, especially his attack on military spending in 1967.

Then think about how in 2026 we'll spend $40 billion to turn warehouses into immigrant concentration camps, but won't house people on the streets.

“nator Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass, recently became the first US politician to declare that it is appropriate to use the term “genocide” when referring to the current war in Gaza.”

She was way out ahead on this.

She’s a breath of fresh air. Always consistent in messaging and actions. Trump blew up her very effective CFPB. She had detailed policy plans for creating healthcare and child care systems that she proved we could easily afford.
She’s still right!

She was. Her voice was not picked up by the media. Infuriating that she was ignored, to the point that people are now accusing her of not speaking up.
She DID!

Exactly. Thank you

‘Amplifying the voices of marginalized Jewish women during the Holocaust’ as an example of DEI was perfectly well articulated once he was backed into a corner and had to admit it.

Now that lead in our environment has been significantly reduced, the two remaining major contributors to crime are:

1) Excessive wealth.
2) Poverty.

A Universal Basic Income (UBI) will go a long way in mitigating these harms.

Nothing is too abjectly evil for these people.

If this just occurred to me, they’ve probably already figured out how to do it.
