Trump is not acting like someone who fears the midterms. In fact, he couldn't be in a worse position. So, either he has a rabbit in his hat or he's planning something. The republicans don't seem to care about their unpopularity or the anger of their constituents. Weird and not normal.

The founders could not time travel and see everything that would happen. They lived hundreds of years ago at a very different time. Maybe conservatism needs to evolve a bit and confront its ideas/theories with reality and facts/data. Democracy needs strong guardrails, over total idea of liberty

There should be an age limit for presidents. We want to hold them accountable and have guardrails against corruption and abuse of power. When they are 80, we all know they will never have consequences whatever they do, they will die before being sentenced. Trump will prove that.
