IT ran a test of our livestream: a 3 hour silent video of a stationary view of the trees in the backyard. It got 66 views, 3 likes, and 1 share. 🤣
Nobody cried.
Nobody’s hair caught fire.
I’m utterly pooped.
Merry Christmas!
If you are out shopping today, show some extra kindness to some retail workers.
Black Friday is a scam for consumers, a nightmare for those who work retail, and a cash cow for corporate execs.
Just silliness for CTK Sunday
We lift our voices
We lift our hands
We lift our lives up to You
We are an offering
Lord use our voices
Lord use our hands
Lord use our lives they are Yours
We are an offering
All that we have
All that we are
All that we hope to be
We give to You
We give to You
I filled my gas tank a mere four hours before getting the email about this. 🤪
Bonus for my efforts: I get a gallon sized ziplock back of the too crispy or torn Lefse! (They’re making it to sell and can’t use the imperfect pieces.)
They have not asked for use of my office, but they did ask me to look at the fuse box (which will require an electrician) and they asked me to dig around in the attic for extension cords.
Six = the maximum number of Lefse grills the church kitchen can power before blowing a fuse.
I got to speak at a city board of directors meeting tonight against the dehumanization of the unhoused, food insecure, and underemployed.
I pray for the day when this is not necessary, when the humanity and dignity of all is acknowledged and protected, and when the needs of all people are met.
JUST IN: A judge on Monday struck down Wyoming's overall ban on abortion and its first-in-the-nation explicit prohibition on the use of medication to end pregnancy.
Can I be included, please?
Just started reading this morning.
Not quite sure what I think of it so far.
I’d love to hear thoughts from more experienced pastors.
