Laris is what I'd call an ambivert, and would initially do well in isolation. Give her a book or a video game and she'll be happy. After some point, though, she'd NEED some sort of human contact. No telling how long it would be before that happened though.

Cait is bold and brash and tends to thrive with others around. In a very real sense, real isolation would drive her crazy. In the context of the universe I have her in, she'd opt for cryosleep on a long trip unless there were a LOT of people on the trip with her.

Generally, since my stuff is mostly short and often monsterfucker-y fiction. But generally.

- Have concept and plan overall length
- Devise basic characters and setting.
- Write a few paragraphs to see if idea gels
- If it does... somehow finish it
