Hard not to go off on a tangent from the meme, about treasured memories. For someone with a life full of horrible bullshit, there have also been so many profoundly good times in my life. Probably a big part of why I don’t follow Kudt and Rob and my friend Philip down into the dark.

13) this is really easy since I haven’t been to many concerts; Tori Amos surfs crowd energy, she’s really savvy about how. By the end of the concert she was playing two different pianos at once while singing to the audience, that sort of thing, you can’t get that from the studio recordings.

9) The person who was out December through most of January came back recently though they really never communicate with me; Friday they really dumped criticism on me and ordered me not to touch stuff I had no way of knowing they’d staked out, and it sent me spiraling. There’s a bit more but eh.

Honestly I have so many good memories it’s hard to choose one. I’ve been pretty lucky.

8) playing that old game, Chaos Marauders, with an ex (not the ex mentioned earlier). We sat on the porch surrounded by empty pots on a pretty day in NorCal, playing this silly board game about orcs yelling at each other. It was a really good morning.

7) I think the last time I sang anything was while cooking a while back, mostly old songs I know from Steeleye Span, though I also sang The Wind That Shakes the Barley.

6) my first real job was working in a campus computing center. It was mostly security with some low end troubleshooting, nothing special.

On an easier to achieve basis I like when I can go hiking with people.

1) yeah, tho these change and are almost invariably derived from fursona names. “Tanna” seems to have stuck, for a bit. Only two people in the world ever used “Jonin,” and they’re both long dead, so that’s I think off limits.

So I am not exactly surprised that the sinister clandestine puppet masters turn out to be a batch of rich child abusers. About the only surprise is that some of the aforementioned abusers actually WERE Jewish, which probably grants the scandal staying power, since Americans love casual antisemitism.

Merely consider for years we’ve been told people like me are a sinister cabal of rich puppet masters, and all this time really obviously the people and churches buying the government were unsurprisingly NOT from a tiny minority who largely didn’t have economic opportunities until recently.

The nearest to me has Japanese egg salad sandwiches, whatever makes those Japanese, but no other items called out or imported.
