TIL that Time.now in Ruby has different precisions on OSX and Linux. On OSX I can save a a time to MySQL and retrieve it with no loss of precision (6 decimal places). On Linux it starts with 10 and then comes back with 6 after save & retrieval.

Why is it always the third way you try?

You can actually set it to any font on your system using /slackfont <fontname>, if you are particular about which monospace font to use. Doesn’t persist across restarts though.

I’ve only had it a very short
