I've been playing a lot of Metroid Dread Randomizer, and I've been getting *kinda* good at it. Latest run was a PB by quite a bit... Blue time is my RTA, started at the point I pressed the button to start, and ended at when the cut scene took me toward the ship. Holy fuck.

today I walked to my nearest Culver's. I wish they were physically here, but I can feel them with me. I miss them, but I know they're enjoying whatever it is they're doing wherever it is they're doing it.

Going to Culver's was a simple thing our family did. It was where we could sit away from home and talk or just be in each other's presence. After Mom died, Dad and I would walk to the Culver's in Sun Prairie. It was our escape. I really haven't been back inside a Culver's since Dad died.

I hate getting up before the sun. Yet, I do it a couple of times a year specifically for this purpose.

Judging some Brass chops at Solo & Ensemble this morning. Let's see if we can make some awesome music today.

I hate when I'm judging kids at our Solo & Ensemble events and we get that one kid that clearly doesn't care. It's hard to hand them the rating they clearly deserve, because I don't wanna be *that* guy...

Still did it though...

10. The perfect date? One where we go and have fun. I'm usually down for things like Bowling or Mini Golf. Maybe going to a game. Something casual and simple. Just dinner can be too intense, and just drinks might give the wrong impression.

Wow. That was... a show. 29 teams, about 150 people. I'm dead tired...

Kinda glad I took last night off, but definitely want to get back at it next Wednesday.
