i took back the world record in SA2B knuckles centurion challenge today. loading into the final split, i was trailing WR by 13s. i needed to get the fastest possible set of emeralds in the stage to beat WR (1/1024 chance) and i got it, beating the previous record by only 0.35s with a 1:16:46.44

it is beyond my comprehension to see how far hunting has come since my days. i know the overall meta and strats have changed quite significantly, but never would i imagine seeing a 1:24 rta final time on my screen. i remember when sub 1:40 was a huge deal!

Today is the 20th anniversary of the original “WTF BOOM” meme getting uploaded to the internet. Many may not know this, but the explosion and laughter comes from our “Cold Fear” video we did for Ubisoft back in 2005. Thank you for keeping the legacy alive.

PSA, The Mega Man X8 demake has had a mod that adds Zero and Axl. Recently the mod got an update that adds a DRM which requires you to be in the mod's Discord server, and blacklists you if you played a leaked version of the mod, the only way to be able to play if blacklisted is to directly talk to the mod's developer on Discord. In a manner similar to the fangame Sonic Gather Battle from a couple years ago. However, the DRM also terminates the process if programs like Cheat Engine, DnSpy, or Fiddler are open. And it has been brought up to be a huge security risk in general. (Although I will assume this is unintentional and just an oversight of the way the DRM is handled.) Don't play the Zashiko mod, instead play the original version of the demake, or play a different mod. The original game released by AlyssonDaPaz has no such DRM and is perfectly safe to play as far as I know. Please do not harrass anyone involved in the mod's development.
