Latest repost reminded me that in my mind Cool Spot would sound EXACTLY like Here Comes Pacman if permitted to speak

Sure, there have been plenty of great mascots throughout the years, but only 7Up’s COOL SPOT got their own pair of dollar store sunglasses. (1988)

Of course, the aesthetics and atmosphere of the PS2 version are also a lot stronger than any of the rereleases, too.
Most people already talk about that, though, so I wanted to focus more on the gameplay experience first.

Having recently finished the original PS2 release of Persona 4, I think I actually prefer it over Golden.
While Golden introduced a lot of very welcome changes and improvements, I think the tighter balance and more limited tools available to you in the OG give it a stronger sense of push and pull.
