The timer is actually frustrating in this new one with the escape room sequences, but the timer, while annoying at first in the first two games, are more of a soft fail than anything, and it opens up more when the timeline branch becomes more available and useful.

Take your time. This one is a not very serious spinoff and I'm seeing some flaws in it already (though I'm still enjoying it). The first two games are awesome, and don't let the timer intimidate you, the game gives you opportunities to mess around and do silly stuff and go back to do it right again.

My copy of No Sleep For Kaname Date came in. Also I had to wait an extra two days for the pre-order sticker bonus. No, it's not the cool holographic ones that come with the game, it's the one of Mizuki giving a thumbs up near a faded thumbs up emoji. Amazing sticker. Powerful.

The power went out again, and while laying around I noticed a glow on the floor and thought "What the hell is that? It couldn't be." It was a Mac SE that I only powered on once back in March. Looking behind my flat screen, I also noticed the glow emitting from two other monitors.

When sitting in total darkness, it's neat that I can still see the dim glow of a powered off CRT that's still holding a charge. The only one I can't see is a tube that already had its diode and analog board disconnected.

Can't escape the vortex of games with Souls-like elements in them. Getting

It's hard to say, as I've been working on one thing for so long, but I have taken on a lot of freelance work which always makes me feel refreshed (when I'm not knocked out by time). Finally having a gap between contract and freelance work made working on my own thing way more rewarding.

I've been trying this lately. Recently came across some time I could spare and didn't feel like playing a game or something. My goal, though is very solid (make a hypercard game), and starting with something fun (building the world/making the characters), which encourages me to keep doing more.

I was deeply disturbed when I learned the cost of an ambulance here, and even if you have healthcare, there's a chance whatever one you get might not be covered by that particular one. Which is crazy to think about because who, in an emergency like that, can think about ambulance coverage??
