This is my transformation of the Carved from Brindlewood mystery system into a retro-futuristic adventure game.
You love planning heists. You love heist montages. Planet Raygun does it in a blaze of glory: stuff I've heard people say ttrpgs just can't do. 😱
One of my favorite PAXU moments: there was a single game of The Between at Games on Demand. Three of the players came up to the booth afterward (at different times) and said it was one of the best—if not the best—RPG experiences they’d had. The group is even going to keep playing on Zoom!
I also want to shout out @cha0ticstupid.bsky.social for organizing and setting up the booth presence for @gauntletrpg.bsky.social this weekend.
He was busy as hell leading up to this weekend and busy all throughout and thanks to that hard work, the whole team was in a place to fucking kill it.

I (and others) have often said The Between will "rewire your brain," that it will change how you view the possibilities and potential of tabletop roleplaying games, especially when it comes to storytelling. Let's do a thread exploring this idea!
