2nd HIIT workout of the week done!
Last week I did 2 HIIT workouts & 2 erg classes. But I think I’ve got to give up erg classes for now. They take up too much time, & there’s not enough flexibility on when I can do them….oh well, I’m going to try and keep up the HIITs & try to get cardio at the J.
Either he likes the smell of the baby, or he’s trying to get the baby to like his smell… Either way it’s adorable 🐶❤️👶🏼
My dogs do great with trazadone. Especially before fireworks (one of them used to not like the car, but he’s good now).

Did another erg class!
Interesting workout of 30 secs on 30 secs off, 7x, going up and then down with ratings from the 26 to a 32. Then a 4 minute break and we did it again, 4 break and we did it again!
I feel like my splits weren’t great, but my coach said, “look at those splits, you’re back!”😊

Thanks! I’m going tomorrow too! I’ve also started again at my HIIT gym, today will be my 2nd session. It was super tough on Monday, but I’m determined! I’m going back to work next week so it’s going to be tough to continue rowing b/c it just takes up so much time, but hopefully I can fit in the gym.

I went to an erg class! I was in the beginner class do I got to be the model for everyone to follow.
The warmup was drills and then the main workout was a 29 min piece, 10/7/5/3/3/1, starting at 20spm, going up by 2. My splits were nowhere near what they were pre-pregnancy, but not terrible!
Threads is so crazy, you’d never suspect that the first post was going to lead to the second.

She’s great with him, does laundry, AND she’s great with the dogs!?! This is awesome!

Even though the nanny is great and Pierre will be home another week & then he WFH 2 days a week after that I’m still anxious about leaving the baby… I will be pretty busy at work, so I’m not so anxious that I will miss him constantly… But I’m probably going to be checking the baby monitor
I’m going back to work next Monday (😭 but also I’m ready) but I only work 2/3 time so I’m not gone that much. I have all morning with him, and bedtime. I think it will work out really well.
They look brown today, but most days they still look blue….but he’s only 14 weeks and they still have lots of time before they settle to his permanent color.

Dinner is going to be a chicken and mushroom pie with caramelized onions (instead of leeks because leeks were stupid expensive) and bacon. And a nice green salad.
