Can't get here quick enough, even if Wmby plays under 10 minutes.

NBA sphere consumer. More specifically I'd happily gobble up anything San Antonio Spurs related. That's about it.
Can't get here quick enough, even if Wmby plays under 10 minutes.

05.09.2025 19:58 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Have written and podcasted about this, but:
Fox wanted to be here. Placed total faith in a franchise that hasnโt won in a while. Put Kings over a barrel, gave Spurs leverage to get him for nothing.
Wouldnโt have been very Spurs-ian (or good business) to say, โScrew you, we have Harper now."
At the end of the day, I think the extension was, unofficially, part of the trade.
On players,
- Sochan is all about the shot. If that develops, absolutely! If not, still a rotation guy.
- A healthy Vassell is a low end starter or great rotation piece.
- Keldon projects for 12-15 minutes.
This. I think two years is the runway and from there it's how Harper turns out and how Fox plays.
Hoping this works out.
The only thing I want to know is our coaching staff has the backbone to disregard paychecks when deciding minutes. *If* Harper is who people tell me he will be, I don't want him on the pine because of sunken costs.
04.08.2025 19:22 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I personally wouldnโt have maxed him off rip, but the talent is there and you *just* gave up stuff to get him in the building. Clearly you want him part of this next era.
Itโll feel rough if heโs, like, the 13th best PG in the league or something.
Shame to let some young guys go, but they would have been buried in the depth chart anyway. Good luck in Washington!
Having said that, nice get - Welcome to the Spurs Mr. Olynyk.
FROM SHAMS:
The Washington Wizards are trading Kelly Olynyk to the San Antonio Spurs for Malaki Branham, Blake Wesley and a 2026 second-round pick (least favorable of Dallas, Philadelphia, Oklahoma City), sources tell ESPN. https://t.co/JWiOF2nzq2
Showing off his sense of humor, Luke Kornet tells us one of the reasons he chose No. 7 is he hopes to be โa third of the player Tim Duncan was.โ
07.07.2025 19:25 โ ๐ 171 ๐ 22 ๐ฌ 5 ๐ 6This is incredibly nice for the Spurs.
07.07.2025 19:32 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I mean, for those of us who don't follow college bball at all, this is an opportunity to see the young players for the first time, other than some highlights here and there.
Having said that, b2b in summer league is asinine, and I know I can count on the Spurs to take health seriously
Atlanta FO cooking. I don't like it.

This pair is what Chicago gamled on, to keep their otherwise offensively-tilted roster afloat. So sad we didn't get to see them keeping the terror up due to health.
"But when multiple NBA executives before the draft tell me they hope they're the ones who can take advantage of the stupid trade the Pelicans will make under Joe Dumars and Weaver, and then a stupid trade happens, ...". How is this that predictable? If this FO is top-30, expansion teams are doomed.

26.06.2025 02:35 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Every time I watch old film, I need to remind myself of this one. It looks so stiff and clunky, but that's just the only way they were allowed to play. The NBA can say the rules have not changed (much), but this is how wide the interpretation spectrum is.
