Writing about recent books is so challenging. I feel haven't lived with the book long enough to write about it.

Reading poetry is a way of grasping life, nurturing every bit of good, connecting up severed bits of ourselves.

I like to think if you hold out your hand long enough, a bird might simply perch there.

Sometimes the act of creation is a kind of divine insistence on remembering.

The fact that writing cultivates more writing for me excites me. A neverending process toward purpose and fulfillment is a neverending effort toward happiness.

In absolute reticence to say but cutting 99% of fat from my diet and exercising 45-60 minutes every day rigorously has in fact made me substantially healthier.

so seems like I'm going to get paid on time next week but still need a little bit more support until May 1st.

Where, who, how does one get their hands, reasonably, on a pdf of recent poetry anthologies from those big uni/academic publishers?

Even Nortons, Routledges, etc are so expensive I wouldn’t dream of purchasing. But the anthology is such important work, generally.
