Terrible Guinness aside, Bruges might be the best city in the world. I’m not complaining by the way, every other beer here is great and you don’t come to Bruges for Guinness - I just get one everywhere out of curiosity and this one was very bad.

4 hours in Ghent this morning.

Brussels is absolutely fantastic and I’ve had one of my favourite ever days of wandering here. Great food, drink, culture, buildings, people watching. A joy to spend a Saturday here.

Belgium tomorrow on my holidays, so have just watched In Bruges again in preparation. I always forget what an absolutely stunning film it is. One of the best of the last two decades. Love every minute.

Incredibly I think I am ready to say that Virgin is her 2nd best album. I remember thinking not long after Pure Heroine came out that there’s no way she ever tops it, and I think she’s now done that twice in the last 8 years. Absolutely mad. Virgin is absurdly good. The Glastonbury show was nuts too
