Just because i create dark fantasy world does not mean its grim fantasy. There is still light in the dark. Dark casts its shadow light must always exist.
This is very common, we had someone who made adult games at school and was basically shamed for it. A lot of the Game Industry's bosses are very conservative I feel in terms of social issues or just in general.

The Rinir Tyrants became nothing but bones that fields and cities were built upon. The knowledge to operate them lost to time. They need pilots and well no one knows how to pilot one.
So fantasy mech and space travel is possible in fantasy just gotta make it work! Hopefully ill get to that book!
An interesting part of my fantasy world is that at one point magic and technology was so advanced species could go to other planets. They had giant mechs called Taidhrichean. Or Tyrants. At one point they were the massive powerhouse of militaries. When the ruin happened all knowledge was lost

To say i've been anxious is a pretty big understatement. God the world is in a weird state, and my life is just running around at this point. Headaches are becoming very common as a result ugh.
Seen here is my pride and joy. An SRM boat whose entire purpose is to just screw with people. He's extremely armored, and jumps around like a poggo stick. His younger brother is a Laser Jerk who alpha strikes specific targets. While the SRM just murders a target in seconds.
Getting into battletech and I can't stop playing the game its the perfect combination of RPG mechanics and turn by turn gameplay. My only issue is it runs like absolute dog water. My current favorite build is my Bullshit Brigade which is jet packing mechs that drop onto enemies and run outta range.
I am guessing this is the military thingy. But yes unpopular war, unpopular government. Throw it all together and got shit outtaluck.
Plus they always prey on the poorest of society or most desperate no one goes into the draft part of the military unless they have exhausted all other 'options'.
Damn vintage story coming out with substantial updates to their game with working water wheels!?!? Whats next steam power?

A mix of everything tbh. I like endings that leave people wanting more and happy ending that allows for future opportunities. I do not want to read a book and it just dead ends.
I've read a few books that just wrap up everything in universe so there is nothing left to look forward to!

I think the biggest damage to the art community was the obsolescence of gallery sites (y!, deviantart, etc) and the rise of scroll-by social media, like twitter and even tumblr. Art is not ''content'', you shouldnt need to post art every day (or every month!) to be relevant. This mindset sucks.

If you start naming actual moves from any martial arts it sounds made up. Like in Freerunning there is Gainers, Butterfly Twist, Kick the Moon, Palm spins, Kong Vaults.
But that sounds rad as helk. Wear it, its a cool thing to do like any sport or hobby.

I miss seeing mountains on hiking trips and treks. I've always seen them and looked at them in wonder. Deadly yet beautiful. Expansive and testament of nature's duality. Ugh... I need to go hiking.

Yeah idk what the hell they are thinking. Its only been a couple of a years since windows 11 too. people will not jump ship and force themselves to use an AI subscription model that sounds like a terrible business strategy.
