Earlier this month, AJP-supported @elpasomatters.bsky.social hosted its first 9.15K, a nod to the region’s area code. 600+ El Pasoans filled the streets, joined by local businesses. A vivid example of how #localnews and information helps weave communities together.
After an investigation by AJP-supported @ctmirror.org revealed that thousands of Connecticut residents could be drinking water from lead pipes, the newsroom built a public database to help residents check their addresses—and began offering free water testing to those at risk. #localnews
