I'd buy something like this. Maybe not exactly this, but a similar setup with game controls, but I can actually take phone calls? That would become my daily driver in a snap.

That would be fun. You can currently emulate Windows, including Steam, and play several Steam games using Gamehub on Android, so I don't think that will be too far off. It would still require a lot of emulation from ARM to x64 unless Steam ever releases a client supporting ARM devices.

My latest favorite thing has been grinding the beans myself. I've tried several different types lately, but my favorite was a limited blend of beans from Oaxaca, Mexico. I haven't been able to find them again.

This is something that drives me bonkers more than it should. While I don't personally have a dead name, my name gets misspelled constantly. T-Mobile cannot get it right no matter how many times I've called them, to the point that I've given up on ever having it fixed.

Wait, what? I bet these people probably skip penicillin too, and as someone who's allergic to it, that's absolutely maddening because it's one of THE BEST discoveries in all of human history, even though I can't use it.

But why did Boeing jump the shark and end theirs in November 2024? Why did Walmart, not a federal contractor, end theirs at all? Why aren't more businesses pushing back? We need to ask them the uncomfortable questions.

DEI - As initiatives are being cute across the country, I highly encourage you to pose questions to the companies that are doing away with diversity, equity, inclusion, and even accessibility programs. Microsoft and Amazon are federal contractors required by executive order to halt their programs.

Last week, nothing seemed to be going my way. Things took more time than I expected. I was overwhelmed by situations out of my control. Then something beautiful happened, reminding me that even when things don't go as planned, new opportunities come that I'd never experience without all the trouble.

No, it's for my day job, which is unrelated, except that it deals with ultrasonic equipment, so technically still sound-related.

They both have zero posts. I would highly question the authenticity of those accounts if they're supposedly representing authentic news organizations, and have never posted anything.

Looks like at least one of those accounts has been suspended.

Our troops didn't topple Al Qaeda. What makes Trump so confident he can outsmart the CAF, the RCMP and Canada's allies? The stakes will be totally different if we start invading allied nations. The entire world would unite against the US. Trump's rhetoric is all pro-Trump, and anti-American.

What we really need is universal healthcare. Scrap the scam that is private insurance. If single payer healthcare is good for the troops, it's good for everyone. Time to make it happen.

I haven't used that platform in a long time. I'm convinced it's mostly bots driving the engagement anyway. Same with YouTube. Though it's a place with some great content, every live stream, the chat is always nothing but drivel. I hope BlueSky can always maintain what it has built.

This platform is a breath of fresh air in an Internet that's otherwise a maelstrom of toxic fumes. I hope it can always maintain the vibe that made it the space it is today.
