five small blue cards with the outlines—shadows, really—of leaves printed on them in white. or more accurately, they're white cards printed in blue, with the shadows washed off? there's leaves from Japanese maple, tuliptree, oak, cherry, and some kind of shrub

a group of guys were walking behind me and one of them asked the others "can we get drinks" and they were all like "no it's only 5pm" and he said "but it's dark out!" and one of them, as if explaining it for the millionth time, said "I KNOW it's dark out but" (I didn't hear the rest)

an axolotl shaped pencil case that I sewed. It has button eyes, and the wide opening of the pouch forms its smiling mouth. Three pink "branches" (its gills) protrude out of each side of its head. It's made of baby blue fabric, with an interior lined with pink.
