A knitting project on circular needle. The knitting has a 3D effect like little hills and valleys. The colour of the yarn is a warm tone mid grey. The label of the yarn is a drawing of a black baby playing with yarn. Because representation matters. Under the knitting project is the paper pattern with a photo of the sweater.
Sharing what's on my needles: the Romanesco Jumper (pattern by Ranti Studio). I am making it in colourway Ashes by @lolabeanyarnco.com .
I was tempted to use a colourful yarn, but this stitch needs a solid colour, and this one is just perfect for it.
Social media used to be about connecting.
Social! It's even in the freaking name.
I used to find my creative fiber community on Instagram and my inspiration on Pinterest.
But nowadays almost half is AI generated images. I don't want to see that. I want real stuff made by real people. 😭
