Systemic classism and racism should be understood in many ways, including the part where we spend huge resources protecting the wealthy from any potential threat and basically nothing on protecting the marginalized from being preyed upon by scammers operating right in front of our faces.
I hate fraud so much. I was lucky to be raised by a deeply ethical dad who worked in the real estate industry in Florida and so was constantly bringing home stories of the worst kinds of guys getting rich in ways that they felt were "illegal but fine" but were actually the worst kinds of theft.

iirc it was the weight of the fuel. Most airlines measure the amount of fuel by weight because they need to factor in the fuel for total weight of the plane when calculating the ideal amount of fuel between airports. They measured out the recommended weight of the fuel in pounds instead of kg.
