Weird, right? Felt the same seeing that Serena Williams ad. I’m sure losing weight was right for her, she knows best about herself, but how does that help anyone? It should be obvious that health should drive any kind of weight management messaging but we seem to have completely abandoned it.

Think my issue with the dress is how ordinary it looks. Like a pricier version of something you can find at an average dept store. Then again, when you’re on the circuit constantly with a zillion different looks, I sorta sympathize with the instinct to go comfy & unfussy right before the Oscars.

I first saw ANDRÉ IS AN IDIOT at Sundance 2025 and liked it. Two months later, my own father was diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer. Upon rewatch this doc revealed itself to be something much richer than its humorous approach would suggest.

There were active alternate side parking days in between the two snow storms where cleaners should’ve come. They didn’t bother. But guess what? The city ticketed the cars that did not move regardless. So citizens have to fulfill their part of the contract, but the city does not? Got it.

Here’s what it feels like to walk on a relatively cleaner stretch of my NYC block, where street cleaners haven’t been to in about 2 months. Nowhere in NYC am I seeing this much loose trash. Uptown residents deserve better than this.

It’s easy to grasp why almost everyone the camera captured was in tears during Harrison Ford’s MAGNIFICENT acceptance speech. Many of them grew up watching Indiana Jones & Han Solo. It must be significant, indescribable, humbling to be in the same room with a legend as his peer. #ActorAwards
