If there are two things you can get everyone in social care to agree on, itโs that coproduction is a good thing in theory, and that itโs hard in practice. The first part of that seems self-evident: social care involves putting people who seek help and people who offer helpโฆ
Still unsure about hope? I was too.
Then I learned:
โ Itโs not soft. Itโs a muscle.
โ It moves with pain, not around it.
โ It doesnโt wait. It works.
Hope means believing tomorrow can be better if we make it so.

This isnโt about budgets. Itโs about belonging.โจNot timelines truth.โจDignity isnโt negotiable.
Tell your MP: We need a system that protects everyone not just the lucky few.
This isnโt a climbdown. Itโs a climb-over.
Red tape or belonging?โจFairness for all?
#DisabilityRights #PIP P5
If this is a concession, itโs one only a spreadsheet could love.
Same need, different treatment?โจThatโs not fairness. Thatโs failure.
Itโs like handing out lifejackets after the flood, or refusing to fight a fire because it started too early.
Thatโs what this feels like.
#PIP #DisabilityRights P4
The government says itโs backing down.โจBut really, theyโre backing away.โจFrom fairness. From responsibility. From the truth.
This isnโt a fix. Itโs a fudge.โจA cut dressed up as a concession.โจA press release pretending to be protection.โจA system where timing matters more than need. P3
Support should be based on what you live with not when you applied.
But this policy says: โWrong date? No help.โ
Thatโs not protection. Thatโs exclusion.
3.7M get PIP.
Only 1.5M are protected.
1.3M on DLA many with lifetime awards get nothing.
3.5M still at risk.
#DisabilityJustice #PIP P2
Not a Concession. A Cut.โจ3.5 million disabled people are still being left out. Here's what the PIP โclimbdownโ really means and why we must not be fooled.โจ#DisabilityJustice #PIP #SocialCare P1

Everyday phrases can carry the weight of history. Some uplift, some exclude.
If we want co-production and care and support that includes everyone, we need to talk about language.

The PM says welfare โmust be pushed through.โ But for 1.3m Disabled people, this isnโt reform its removal. PIP isnโt a bonus. Itโs a lifeline. Cuts dressed as reform are still cuts. We need justice, not judgement. Dignity, not denial.

To Victor: thank you for standing in that pain and still choosing to lead.
To all of us: this is our moment.
Not charity, solidarity.
Not a patch but a rebuild.
Because when care is unequal, it isnโt care.
And when we fix that, everyone benefits. P5
#BuildTheWorldWeNeed
Weโre not fighting for colour-blind care.
Weโre fighting for justice driven care.
Where every diagnosis, every intervention, every death reflects equal worth and human dignity.
No second class care no matter the skin you're in. P4
#AntiRacistLeadership
I be clear: this isnโt inevitable.
We built these systems.
We can rebuild them.
What changes minds and moves mountains isnโt more data itโs courageous truth telling, lived experience, and leaders willing to say: this is not OK, and this will change. P3
#HealthJustice
Too many Black families arenโt just mourning loss theyโre mourning injustice.
Misdiagnosed. Ignored. Disbelieved.
Thatโs not a glitch. Itโs a feature of structural racism.
And racism in healthcare doesnโt just hurt feelings it ends lives. P2
#RaceAndHealth
My mum got a Black service, not an NHS service.
These words from Lord Victor Adebowale are not just personal they are political. Powerful. Painfully familiar.
This isnโt one case. Itโs a pattern. A system. A truth we must name to change. p1
