Splattering whitewash and winter weathering all over a perfectly well painted tank terrifies me every single time.....

Last few bits and pieces of my Polish Airborne have been revamped. Platoon commander, medium mortar team with spotter and medium machine gun team. Aside from one miniature, all the crews have been kitbashed 🙂

Classic Necromunda Ratskins. Reworked and rebased on modern Necromunda bases 🙂

Rummaging through my junk cupboard this afternoon yielded some really rather interesting finds......

Some classic plastic monopose Plague Marines from 1996 added to the retro 40k project.

These were bought on eBay with a random miniature included that I converted to be armed with a flamer. Now the Aspiring Champion I painted last week has a squad to lead 🙂

That would be an awesome kitbash, so full of character and would really fit into the Necromunda character and ethos 😃

When you go rummaging round various bits boxes like Indiana Jones looking for old 40k stuff, and find three old Necromunda gangs from 1996 instead 😃

I've worked on the Ratskins on and off for a few years but this is the first time all the miniatures have been together in a good few years.

I had a few of the other metal characters from this era but never Tigerius. I still regret losing my Ragnar Blackmane miniature 😔

That looks ace 😃

Too stuff! I never got to buy this when I was younger so really looking forward to getting some paint on it 😃

Super happy to be able to get to paint this after 30 years 😃

Even after 29 years, still absolutely full of detail and menace. I was lucky that the miniature I bought from eBay was in a really good condition 😃

I had some of the plastic World Eaters when I was a kid but never owned the Plague Marines. Definitely some nostalgia on the way 😃

Let the galaxy burn! I bought my first Abaddon the Despoiler miniature not long after it's release in 1996. Ebay provided my second and it was an absolute joy to paint as it was 29 years ago 😀

Of all the older 40k miniatures I've been painting recently, this is the one I've been dreading. A Space Marine apothecary......with white armour.

I've never been great at painting white so I'm glad this all finished 😀
