She’d like that but honestly? She could run (either seat) & wouldn’t get elected. A good proportion of the state thinks she should be committed.

Most of Georgia & a good part of the 14th district heaves a huge sigh of relief. (Here’s hoping she disappears for good - but I doubt it.) At least there will be 1 year of not being embarrassed.

It’s sad, really. But I’d think a legit invite wouldn’t come from a gmail account. Instead, librarian@library.org or something. Not that I’ve gotten anything but spam…

I am a writer, I have spent years honing my craft, and it is frankly offensive to offer to rewrite what I just wrote with a stupid machine. I almost stopped using Word until I FINALLY found a way to turn it off. I don't want to use AI and you still keep trying to ram it down my throat and I hate it.

Why yes, @microsoft.com, I will HAPPILY provide you feedback on how exactly I feel about Word right now.

My guess is your provider thinks the “test” & “amber” are extreme, urgent, or both. The amber I can understand but a test? Huh.

Not sure on Androids but on the iphone, it will shriek any emergency alert unless you have the alerts turned off. I only had to turn off two alerts but it looks like on an Android, there's more?

I was feeling good about our service until you corrected yourself. We get 15mbps on a good day-their max. Most of the time it hovers around 10mbps.

I’m probably going to get castigated for this but anything by Brandon Sanderson. (I read one series at the suggestion of my youngest.) They ddrraagg. IIRC, it took most of the first book to even figure out the premise.

PSA for any Apub authors whose books are in the Anthropic settlement list: Amazon is not participating in the settlement, since they have an investment in Anthropic. When you submit your claim form, you DO NOT have to list Amazon as an add'l rightsholder, & can claim 100% of settlement money.
