I just don't think this is right. Or rather, it's not right from the standpoint of the journalist's audience.
All Trump does is lie, or say things that are totally insane, or both. The fact that he does it a lot is not good for people consuming news.
41 years old, evacuated here legally, asylum case pending, kidnapped while driving his six children (one a US citizen) to school. Dead within 24 hours.
Betrayed and murdered by the United States government.
42nd confirmed and reported death in ICE custody under Trump.
Officials are normally presented with ceremonial swords or paintings or whatever. But these guys are so fucking stupid that foreign intelligence agencies can literally give them an "Honorary Electronic Communications Device for a Very Special Boi" and they fall for it every time.
I'm an OR RN and we do IUD insertions under anesthesia now and again. I'm a dude and so I've obviously not experienced it personally, but having seen it done on others....
....ibuprofen?! I mean goddamn, that seems awful.
But more to the point yes, modern movies would simply never countenance the level of brutality you see in this film. And it's all so visceral; you really feel it.
I watched that movie after I'd been a firefighter for a few years, and goddamnit, my department NEVER issued me even a SINGLE detonator, let alone a bunch of C4.
I don’t think this shit will work but i never want to hear about free speech from any trumpers or anti anti trumpers ever again, fuck off forever bsky.app/profile/cram...
"relax, we're fully insured," the corporate manager assures the captain and crew over the satellite link
Ok. So at no point in the past 46 years has the situation of the poor improved?
Were the poor worse off at the end of Biden's term as opposed to the start of it?
I don't think the idea is that poor people are doing better than ever, it's that, considered in the context of inheriting a mismanaged viral pandemic and a deliberately sabotaged government, the Biden administration managed the mir four years better than almost any other nation.
What context makes that statistic untrue?
Man, that I really can't agree with. I grew up in the 90s so cigarettes were already starting to become less popular, and even then that shit was everywhere and oppressive.
Weed is jot even CLOSE to cigarettes in that way.
So I guess this is my question. Can we use numbers but we're just using the wrong ones? Or is the sense that the numbers themselves are not capturing something critical?
How do we know that they're not?
Ok, I guess that's what you're experiencing.
But it certainly hasn't been my experience and the only people I ever hear complain in this fashion are online.
This has always been my question as well. "The economy" is huge and nothing is going to be universal. If we can't use numbers to understand our society, aren't we just completely lost?
I hear people say this and it's not been my experience at all. It's not like I never encounter the smell of weed in public, but it's pretty infrequent and easily dismissed.
These hyperbolic complaints strike me as just that.
Possible solution to the Strait of Hormuz?
In this state, Wisconsinites have a constitutional right to cast a secret ballot, and that’s something we take really seriously.
We want to keep our elections safe and secure, and caving to the Trump Administration’s demand will do the exact opposite. We’re going to fight it.
it’s unreal how these grown-ass men had no problem destroying untold lives with chatGPT but go crying to a judge when people make fun of them online
Amongst all the stupid analysis, it's amazing how insecure TAH is. His feed, when it's not complaining about "the left", is full of guns and fishing that just reeks of desperation. "No guys, I'm not like those other academics, I'm a man's man!".
Pathetic.
Let there be as much outrage from politicians in Washington when kids go hungry as there is when I break bread with New Yorkers.
Haitian immigrant last seen in ICE custody—found dead on the street 3 days later.
Agents drove her 1 hour away from home for processing—then released without notifying her family.
Her body was found near a bus stop.
I would think so? Barring more information I guess, but I do think you're generally responsible for what you do with your car.
Oh my god people are giving small children AI toys and expecting them to learn communication from them??? THIS IS LITERALLY WHAT HUMANS SHOULD BE DOING THIS IS NOT AI'S JOB WHAT THE HELL www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
Can we give them a polaroid of Trump and his cronies and caption it, "Don't believe their lies"?
It's incredible how stupid and obvious this man is.
