I'm a homesteader/pepper, and I think some of it has to do with the unpredictability of climate change. Is my region going to get hotter or colder? Do I plant fruit trees that are for zone 9 or 10 if I currently live in zone 8? But some is also clearly climate denial from the conservative media
That's a lot of assumptions. I'm raising them for their poop to fertilize my fruit trees and to eat ticks. They legit just walk around a food forest during the day and poop around the fruit trees and eat fruit and bugs. Look up silvopasture
