Extra art: Gwen back in her adventuring days. She was originally the protagonist of an abandoned fantasy story that I worked on back in 2010-2014.

Of my roster of characters Gwen was always my Mom's favorite, so it's important to me that I keep her around in some capacity.

Inktober 28: Brawler Crab
An enormous crab with clubbed claws and a goring horn, that can grow to the size of two men. They are hardy and adaptable, and quickly become a menace to coastal peoples unless regularly culled.

A truly vast complex burrowed into the cliffs. The outer halls are well enough documented that local adventurers will sometimes practice their charting and navigation here. The deepest halls remain to be seen.

Fighting helms generally have ear-covers, but made of a pliant material like leather or treated cloth. Tough enough to protect from abrasions and glances, but flexible enough that you wouldn't have the whole helm spun or tilted from a hit to the ear.

The fixed rigid ear-flanges identify this as a ceremonial helm. Wear-and-tear suggests that it has nevertheless seen practical use.
