Rest of TAS updated, verifying now. Came in at just a hair over 4 hours.

Skipping dialogue and optional events, and a stronger security job strategy could get it down to like 2:30 or less. But that'll be for somebody else to do. :3

It works! There's still an hour of gameplay after the RPG but that should be a lot easier to work with.

Found some time to edit and redid the RPG section of Z4C. Playing it back now to see if there are any more syncing surprises before the post-RPG stuff that has way less RNG

It's that piano scale that keeps running between 3-7. I play 2P and my right hand is usually covering 567 + table. There aren't any scratches until the end of each part so just have to get my brain to shift the hand for a moment.

Played a few rounds of IIDX Sparkle Shower. Enjoying the DJ Training feature! Lots and lots of songs to grind through.

Still working on the new 7th Dan course though. Zenius-I-Vanisher's ending breaks my brain. Maybe my hand positioning is not good for it? Time to visit the lab.

Dang, got to credits in Zero4 Champ RR but the TAS file desyncs towards the end of the RPG. Gonna have to rerecord that part I think.

Yeah! Got a good chunk of the game script up on GameFAQs and working on a TAS now. Just finished the last boss of the main story's RPG mode today. I still have a few races, cutscenes and optional events to go through though.

It's the only sword with that effect, there's only one copy of it in the game and only Akane can wield it, but it instantly turns her into a beast spellslinger.

In Zero4 Champ RR's RPG mode, the Madder Sword (all the swords are mostly named after flowers) restores 5 MP with each hit while equipped. But it doesn't care how you hit the enemy; blasting an enemy with a 4 MP ice spell and getting a 5 MP refund is fine too.

Finished Bishamon and the first dungeon (of two in the main story) while working on the upcoming Z4C RR TAS today. Beat up gods, buy car parts, go faster!

The second dungeon unlocks the rest of the party so time to figure out how to efficiently zoom up to this game's metal slimes.

For now it covers just the main path through the game (+Nae cause I forgot she's not required whoops). I'm working through the side stuff like the RPG and mahjong sections with my old notes.

There's a girl who introduces the protag to the 2000cc shop who normally requires a diamond ring gift, but today I learned you can just annoy her with cheap junk until she sends you there for free.

Zero4 Champ RR is mean as hell to the protagonist and I kind of love it

You piss off your rival and he rigs the races so he can dunk on you in every tournament
