It’s really hard to believe that any senior person in the Trump admin thinks Kristi Noem as DHS director helps them in any way. If I was the most ardent Trump supporter, I would want her out. From her handling of FEMA to her ICE photo ops & interviews, all she does is hurt them.
The ICE agents believe they are above the law. They think there will be absolutely no consequences to their illegal actions.
FYI: Judge Ellis (Chicago ICE case) noted in November that video evidence shows ICE "brake-checked other motorists in an attempt to force accidents that agents could then use as justifications for deploying force."
