My tweet says "rest of the 2025 season", but it certainly sounds like this will be a shorter-term loan. Corcoran has been excellent when he's gotten on the pitch, but he's behind Tagseth, Yazbek, Brugman and Acosta on the depth chart and the U20 World Cup is in six weeks.

I was incredibly impressed with Nashville SC in their 2-2 draw against Aston Villa. Tough to draw too many conclusions from a preseason Premier League team vs a heavily rotated in-form MLS team, but really liked how Nashville solved problems in-game.

73' | Another excellent run from Jonny Pérez. Picks out Surridge, but there's not enough pace on the cross and Shaffelburg can't get on the end of a header back across the goal.

67' | Nashville nearly pull one back. Bauer hits a perfect ball over the top to Knight, but he scuffs his touch. Recovers and nearly pokes it in, but can't get a good connection.

64' | Villa double the lead. Corcoran loses a ball far too easily on a short goal kick, and Villa pounce. Donyell Malen with an easy finish.

56' | Goal-saving challenge from Wyatt Meyer to poke the ball away from Donyell Malen at the last second. Xavier Valdez spills the rebound, but Chris Applewhite clears in front of an empty net t keep Villa from adding a second.

53' | Great work from Jonny Pérez to break out from his own box, and he goes on a run with Jacob Shaffelburg in support. He runs out of gas at the end, though, and coughs it up in Villa's box.
