Haha yeah, but was still nice. The program has it being lit alight at the table and smoke for the one my wife had, but I'm thinking they felt it was a pain in the arse, so they've cut that back, taken the gelato away and made it cheaper. It's advertised at a higher price.

Latest Hot Chocolate Festival visit - ONDA in Olympic Village.
I had the Grand Flame (with two cannoli instead of bigne as they were out, but this was better imo).
Wife had Go Nuts with chocolate focaccia.
Were $10.75 each due to some tweaks. Grand Flame was best combo so far!
Khalon says here “At first when they said no, I was like what is going on.”
The Whitecaps have reiterated that they never said no. Axel confirmed to PavCo on Friday afternoon (after his presser at UBC). Parties met again on Monday and lawyers are working on details.

Is this short-term deal a “little step” that’s genuinely enough to keep the #Whitecaps in Vancouver long term or is this about buying time here?
Some good stuff, but I think people are overestimating what the Whitecaps will get from naming right or pitch naming rights. Any stadium deal will get split and if there were companies willing to pay that amount they would have struck a deal already.
The ticket prices are definitely a consideration

Honestly, not sure we learned much outside of the club signing the new PavCo deal.
The situation sounds dire. Very little hope offered and it comes across that the club are out of ideas for real game changing revenue solutions and need help.

On losses and asked what hope he can offer fans:
Axel ponders how long they can continue like this and be competitive.
It's not about 2026. It's long term. If gap continues to increase between revenue and losses, it's going to get more and more challenging.
No hopes appeared!
Axel says he doesn't want to negotiate with the BC Government in public so isn't saying here what they actually want.
We're going round and round on circles a bit here with very little clarity.

Axel says they never think of an end scenario, there is no deadline to any of this.
But solutions need to be found. They wouldn't got public if they didn't feel the team "was in a lot of trouble".

Axel feels the club do so much for the community and the youth in BC, they are an important asset.
A lot of other sources of revenue are required without specifying exactly what they might be. Not sure they actually know by sounds of it.

What are these "little steps"?:
Club needs to get to "average revenues" in the league. They are $40 million Canadian short of that revenue right now.
These little steps can come from everywhere, like naming rights. Corporate businesses and big companies in BC need to step up.

Axel says the club have never refused the offer from the BC Government. They have accepted it and lawyers on both sides are working on it.
Uderstand it's the best they can give and they won't ask for more.
But it's "a little step to a solution". 25 to 30 more needed
