I would suggest not only mentioning and focusing on Steam and Itch, but also e.g. Patreon, Gumroad, and Ko-fi (and there are presumably others).

Even if they back off Itch and Steam, they've already rendered many important platforms uninhabitable for furry and adult creators.

This has sadly been going on for years. E.g. the banishment of most adult-labeled content from Patreon, Gumroad, and Ko-fi in 2023.

It really shows how sending and receiving money shouldn't be a privately owned enterprise where the corporation is free to choose what can and can't be paid for.
