I like seeing Eugene’s historic buildings get upgrades. Olive Plaza was built as affordable housing in 1978 and continues that mission today. I liked the previous color scheme, but the new seismic improvements and rain resistant exterior cladding should help it survive another 47 years.

But yes, I suspect people who are comfortable talking person to person are probably oblivious to the barriers for those who aren’t.
Do you mean from a customer service standpoint or in a work situation? I personally often find it hard to even get people to answer a phone call. And often the only info source seems to be FAQ or chat based.
